We showed you a Dual SIM Pocket PC some days ago from a company called General Mobile. Now a new Chinese company claims that they are making the world's first Dual SIM Pocket PC. The funniest thing is, they copied HTC in most aspects right from their company name (HKC) to their boxing covers (HTC Touch' Box Cover). Apparantly this Pocket PC will be in Chinese language and so may not be usefull for you but still, a cause for the laugh..
By better we mean, quite better than the default poor quality which windows media player of your Pocket PC offers. The poor quality is because of the poor codecs. Even WM6 Pocket PC devices dont have proper codecs and people move on to CorePlayer or TCPMP for slight better playback. Just in case if you don't use them yet and would like to stick on to the old-school windows media player, download these codecs to improve playback performance a little at-least.
One more new Pocket PC unvield at the CITA 2008 is the Mio Lovebird. This is a Pocket PC under qVGA resolution (320x240) running at 400 Mhz processor by Samsung with 2 GB RAM, quad-band network connectivity and also with a built-in GPS chipset.
Its a major pain in the back having to rely on Internet Explorer
(Opera Mobile, Netfront etc.) for displaying the given Web page -
instead of the much faster / cheaper / prettier Opera Mini. So far, it was impossible to quickly invoke Opera Mini from any mailer
applications on your Pocket PC just by just clicking on the web-links since it requires the Java engine to be started first.
