combines navigation with mobile communication. Exchange your GPS
location with others by clicking just one button! Send SOS messages
including your exact position for emergency assistance! Display
incoming positions or set them as a target for navigation! Run Navideo
either in standalone mode or in conjunction with additional navigation
software such as TomTom Navigator! Save your position or track your

Autoroute! Years of travel fit on your PDA!
Y'all know that Microsoft bought a really annoying feature in WM5 as the Digital Signing security. It prompts before installing any application that was unsigned. Its absurd for developers to sign a cab file for expensive prices when they release an application that is merely free or charged at lower prices. End-users already know that they are installing an applicaton that they have downloaded from so and so place. So what is the point in having this prompt? Has it ever served any purpose? Hackers and Trojans always find a better way to creep into your devices. Hopefully no big life-threatng ones exist to date.
So here in WM6, this feature has shown some improvement.
Certificate Installer built into the platform
Installs CER, P7B, and PFX files
No more Access Denied messages.
Installs certs to the ROOT, Intermediate, and MY store
Wildcard Certificate support for SSL"
Yes, this might be too technical for you. Simply to say, There will be no annoying prompts AFAIK. Lets wait and watch!
US Congress has changed the dates for Daylight Saving Time (DST) starting 2007 followed by adopting similar DST dates. These
changes could cause clocks and Microsoft Outlook calendar appointments on
Windows Mobile-powered devices to display incorrect times for March 11 April
1, 2007 and October 28 November 4, 2007 and again in subsequent years because
Daylight Saving Time (DST) will now start three weeks earlier (2:00 a.m. on the
second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 a.m. on the first
Sunday in November).
Toshiba announced their new Pocket PC, the G900 at the 3GSM World Congress. This device is pretty
unique, featuring a 3" WVGA (800x480) screen, Yes! A WVGA! Beyond that, it has a Biometric Fingerprint security sensor at the back. I can think of my old iPAQ which had the same long ago. And this same sensor also acts like a mouse. It letsyou scroll though the menus.
It is a Triband UMTS and HSDPA Pocket PC with a
full QWERTY keyboard. See more pictures below..
Here comes another GPS Pocket PC Phone device from MiTAC. Only WM5 with AKU 3.5 (no WM6), 201MHz TI OMAP 850 processor, 2.7" QVGA
screen, 64/128 RAM/ROM capacity, quad-band GSM, SiRFstar III GPS chip,
and Bluetooth 2.0. Unfortunately, there's no 3G wireless (Edge GPRS
instead) and no WiFi.
Do you ever get interested in buying a device with WM5 when WM6 is announced? Neither do I! But this device looks a little pleasing to me in shape and size. Hope we get an upgrade to WM6 atleast after the device is launched.
