So nVidia announced their GoForce graphics processor which will first be implemented in XDA Flame, now their competitor AMD has revealed their product Imageon. "AMD's Imageon chip is a
graphics processor (GPU) designed for mobile devices. While the
high-end version is not shipping in any Windows Mobile devices at this
point, the demonstration I saw was quite impressive....I was unable to
find the model number of the GPU running the demo below, but I suspect
it was the Imageon 2298, announced last month. The hope here, of
course, is that technology like this will make it into Windows Mobile
smartphones so we can have gaming experiences this fluid and impressive"

SRS Labs, a supplier of audio,
voice and surround sound technology solutions, today announced the
availability of new SRS WOW HD and SRS Mobile HD audio drivers for
Windows Mobile 6. Windows Mobile device manufacturers may license these
audio solutions to enable a 5.1 surround headphone listening experience
for mobileTV and video applications.
Each of the audio drivers are easy‑to‑implement and sit within the
audio path. They enhance any audio going through the ARM‑based
multimedia applications processors such as Texas Instruments OMAP
devices and Marvells PXA-27x (formerly Intel Xscale) processors.
Additionally, SRS Labs delivers a full consumer graphical user
interface that can be customized by the handset maker. So Pocket PC users, you can now through iPod and other MP3 players and wait for this extreme sound! Unfortunately, only on WM6. Not even the upgraded devices, you ofcourse need to buy a new one!

So its not just the iPods getting those docks, Pocket PCs too! The small
Bluetooth receiver device acts as a bridge, accepting incoming Bluetooth
signals and converting them to an analog signal and sending it down the
pipe. So what that means is that any Windows Mobile smartphone or PDA
with Bluetooth can broadcast music and the FIPO will pick it up. In the
photo above, that means being able to use a Windows Mobile device with
the the JBL speaker dock. Since almost every new Windows Mobile device now comes with
Bluetooth, the FIPO will allow users to connect into a huge variety of
speakers and docks for music. The FIPO is supposed to be
available immediately (although I can't seem to find it for sale
anywhere) and will sell for an MSRP of $99 USD. More information can be
found at the Anycom site.
