Hi All,<br /><br />I want to check the memory leaks in my pocket pc MFC application.<br />I have installed the "Application Verifier" and Windows embedded CE Test Kit".<br />But I can't able to connect the my pocket pc 5 emulator to CE Test Kit.<br /><br />I cradle my emulator and try to connect it to CE Test Kit.<br />First, i started the Windows Embedded CE Test Kit and from connection menu start client.<br />After that i clicked on Connect.. button, but the dialog box doesn't show the windows mobile 5.0 emulators.<br />It only shows the default device.<br />Whether we have to manually add the device or what?<br />Is that so? Then how can add the device.<br /><br />How can i connect my emulator to this test kit and check my application?<br />If any one have idea about it, then please help me.<br /><br />Thanks & Regards,<br />Pariksheet.

I thought CE Test kit is a tool that you can use to test device drivers that you develop for the Windows CE operating system. More of a Platform Builder side.. Dear Pariksheet,<br /><br />      Im not an expert in MFC. In VB.net, or just in case of any other development environment, you cannot expect the best Memory leaking application to test your product. Its always best to follow experienced and clean code practices where you dispose off all third-party components or any dll's that you use in the application whenever you finish using them! Don't use high end or high memory using components unless you have a strong requirement for it or have custom engines to process them in simpler ways..! Only by doing so, you can never worry about memory leaks!<br /><br />Use taskmanager to note down the process and service and monitor them for memory leaks!<br /><br />Regards,<br />Carty..
