asus-pocketPCThe A696 ultra-slim GPS PDA device has been launched by ASUS! Described as a power accessory, the A696 is a pretty sleek phone (1.57 cm) but does manage to include an entire GPS function without the need of an antenna! The body is enclosed in stainless steel and flaunts an anti-glare 3.5 inch touch screen! The Destinator Technologies’ routing engine and navigation content is found in A696 GPS and includes a QuickNav button which makes it easier and faster to travel to a pre determined address or POI. This device includes an 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 and operating at 416MHz; it sports a 256MB Flash ROM, 64MB SDRAM (expansion with an SD card slot in case you need more space!). The A696 is indeed an indispensible accessory for the globe trotters!
