ASUS officially announced the existence of its very own Smartphone powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 called P835.

The cherry on this cake is apparently the 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen and the HSUPA 7.2Mbps for super fast downloads. There’s Opera Mobile which comes fully loaded in to this device to enable web browsing along with a Glide user interface, exclusive to ASUS only.

The device is powered by 528MHz Qualcomm 7201A processor and we’ve also spotted microSDHC card slot, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, GPS, USB 2.0 connectivity and quad-band GSM compatibility. What’s more, there’s also a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording thrown in for an extra measure.

Moreover, the device can double up as a Wi-Fi access hotspot to share the super fast internet connectivity with around ten devices at the same time. Well, we’re still in the dark about the pricing and when this one would hit the tech zone.

ASUS is in the news yet again! And this time, there’s the fastest smartphone in the offering with a Windows Mobile core. The ASUS P565 flaunts an 800 MHz processor to guarantee the speed while the 2.8” VGA with high-resolution touch screen perfectly makes up the saucy appeal.

ASUS has been given the royal treatment and would grace the red carpet to be a part of the Open Handset Alliance. We hear now that an Android device is on its way very, very soon.
