HTC Mogul by Sprint launched!

Wednesday, 27 June 2007

The all new HTC Mogul is the very first of its kind from Sprint which supports an enhanced EV-DO Revision A network on Windows Mobile 6 powered devices. The latest device will now support the current network and at the same time, using a software update, enable the quicker Revision A. Manufactured by HTC; the Mogul replaces the PPC-6700 (a heavier version). The memory capacity of this device is 256 MB of internal storage and also enables a longer battery life (20% more than the 6700!).  Features such as a 2 megapixel camera, built in Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth!  A thumbwheel has been provided for easy navigation, to provide support for Java based applications and also Sprit’s On Demand service, though support for Sprint Music store by over-the-air downloads will be available only from July. A host of new features such as mobile versions of Microsoft Office, Windows Media player, PDF viewer and Windows Liver Services are now included! With all the above features, the HTC Mogul (sold at $399.99 USD on a two year contract) is an epitome of the innovative methods by which HTC aims to bring broad usability to their patrons!
