Thursday, 16 August 2007

HTC-Nike-PocketPCTaiwanese Digitimes claims that HTC is all geared up to release their second TouchFLO controlled Smartphone! The new device is rumored to support UMTS and HSDPA and is called for the moment as HTC P5500 also codenamed as Nike! This Smartphone will have a CPU from Samsung Electronics and handsets from Qualcomm will have the WCDMA standard! The HTC Nike has a strong resemblance to the HTC Touch with the TouchFLO touch screen but is a Windows Mobile 6 Professional powered Smartphone! Another difference is the addition of an auto sliding keyboard! The other features of the new device are the 128 MB ROM, 64 MB RAM and a microSD card for all your memory needs, dual camera with 2 mega pixels and a QVGA video telephony enables camera on the front! There is also Bluetooth support but it is still not clear if the device will support Wi-Fi or not! There is also no concrete information available regarding the whereabouts of the launch this September!
