The HTC Shift is the very first UMPC device which is powered by the Windows Vista along with Windows Mobile simultaneously! HTC prefers to call this as Snap VUE which enables the user to operate a mix of Windows Mobile 6 Classics and Professional version independently apart from Windows Vista. This adds Windows Mobile viewer options to Windows Vista where there is instant access to PIM and e-mail accounts even when the pocket PC is actually in the switch off mode. The HTC Shift can be powered by Windows Mobile mode for more than 5 days and can be accessed by the Windows start key! But while using the Windows Vista, the battery time is only for 3 hours! But sources have it that the HTC Shift is bound to be the most interesting device of this year! So, HTC users will be waiting to get their hands on this beauty! |
