Sony Ericsson are not fed up with their disappointing Xperia X2 PocketPC phones. They are again for a battle with their new Windows Mobile 6.5.3 PocketPC phone in the well used to Nokia E71 style.

Although it has a 2.4” QVGA touch screen with 320x240 resolutions,  there is a dedicated full QWERTY hardware keyboard beneath the screen. It will be integrated with assisted GPS function and is given a microSD slot for memory expansion and a camera of 3.2 MP. The included Stylus makes us know it doesn’t have a capacitive screen.

It is heard that you will only have 256 MB of integrated memory and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. Also some rumors are spreading of Faith, having a Solar panel for recharging the battery for some additional talk times but we doubt it will be available in the final production unit.

Faith also supports HSDPA and quad band GSM networks, not only that, but dual band UMTS and EDGE is also supported but again, it all depends on which carrier it gets grabbed onto. Our decision: To stay away from it and wait for some real Windows Mobile 7 phone.
