After a lot of miscommunication, wrong dates and ambiguity, people still haven’t understood that Sony Ericsson will now be rolling out a legendary Windows Mobile powered device.

Yep, it’s the Xperia X1of the Smartphone lineage. We hear (again!) that this sultry siren is hitting the mobile fronts very, very soon. The launch is slated to take place in London, UK with 30th September 2008 being the special day. The Xperia X1 will be available across Europe, Asia and Latin America by the end of this year.

China’s tech zone gets a new addition – a brand-new 3G Windows Mobile Smartphone. Umm, not really exciting but the Moffet is the latest to grab the fancy (or the lack of it) of the Chinese brigade.

Well, if you’ve been intently watching the Smartphone wars between the giants, then you’d love this itsy-bitsy piece of juicy news.  Not really shocking or even remotely dramatic, but well, Apple’s bagged the top spot!

Well, Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1 holds fascination for the eager mobile maniacs as well as the industry bigwigs. What else would explain the Microsoft OS, HTC hardware and now, Spb vying to provide the panel interface?

Well, we’re nearing the end of the tunnel! The Sony Xperia X1 is here and whoa, didn’t it seem like ages? We’ve harped about the features till we’re sore in the throat. The packaging doesn’t seem all that extraordinary and all we ask is: was it worth the long, long wait? 

HTC’s hard at work and why not? After all, making a brand new Windows Mobile Professional Smartphone is not exactly an easy job!
