The iPhone by Apple is a mix of the best and the not so best! While you may find that this revolutionary device performs many amazing things, you may also discover some of the features (seen even in the most basic phones) missing! This ultra small hand-held computer has a screen of touch-sensitive glass. This status symbol comes at a heavy price tag (obviously!) and contains a cell phone, video iPod, e-mail terminal, Web browser, camera, alarm clock and Palm-type organizer. The storage is about 4 and 8 GB in the $500 and $600 models respectively! Another remarkable feature in this ultra slim phone is that the screen does not scratch all that easily (though it tends to smudge a bit!). But the software is what makes this phone a magnificent one! Extremely simple to handle, it’s quick, menu-free and has all the 16 functions (with icons) displayed on the home page. AT & T (formerly known as Cingular) is the sole retailer for the next few years because of the go-ahead given to Apple to remodel the aspects which people loath about cell phones! The company also provides a voice-and-internet plan along with a two year commitment which is mandatory for the iPhone! The voice mail is quick and can be accessed with a single click! The call quality is only average, depending on the AT&T coverage and takes a really long time to make a call! The web browser is a real beauty with full layouts and font shrunk to fit the screen! The email is awesome with the incoming messages fully formatted with graphics. You can access Word, an access Word,Exel and PDF documents but cant edit them!rage o year commitment which is mandatory for the iPhone!Excel and PDF documents though you can’t edit them! Its pure magic as you can enlarge a web page, document or photo just by spreading your thumb and forefinger on the glass! The iPhone also doubles as an iPod when it’s in the U.S.B charger which enables you to revel in music, videos and photos. Even YouTube videos are really magnificent in the 3.5 inch screen giving really high resolution images! The iPhone is sure to make a mark with its mind blowing features!
