Windows Mobile 6 upgrade

Saturday, 17 March 2007

We spoke about the official launch over here. They're not on the market yet! Pocket PC device manufacturers are not intending to give it as an upgrade to your existing devices just because they want to make some money by making you buy their new devices. Do you want to? Ok, I can hear you scream no! Well, there are always reverse engineers. The famous xda-developers are there for you! Well this is not the option Microsoft wants you to choose (Discussions here).

But who cares? Currently if you own any of the devices such as Wizard, Universal, Hermes or any of their incarnations, you can upgrade your existing OS WM5 to Windows Mobile 6! We do not guarantee them on your device. The process of upgrade will expire your warranty and support (though you had nothing of the kind before ). If you're serious enough to take the risks(nothing serious than bricking your devices) get your upgrades for Wizard, Universal and Hermes.
