All those LED Flashlights behind your PocketPC, they’re rather used to improve your night shots but work great as a torch light for emergency situations. Here is a small free application that turns the LED on for as long as you want.

Torch Button is a small software made by NetRipper from xda community, which when launched, will turn on the LED Flash light present behind your PocketPC if it has one and keeps the light on until you re launch the same application. Nice to have it in emergency dark situations, especially when you have lost your key and searching for it under the couch.

The latest version 2.0 adds support to recent PocketPC phones such as the Touch HD 2. Although you may manually turn on the camera and get the light on, this application is easier to launch and specially when some PocketPC camera softwares will turn on the flash for a short burst of time when the capture button is pressed.

Don’t forget that keeping your LED flash light on for longer periods of time will drain your battery.
