Taking the Windows Mobile 6.5 goodies bogie further, here we are with a path breaking application that enables you to change the start menu of unofficial WM 6.5!

Yes, we've already played with the Start menubar of older Windows Mobile versions by changing the icons and sorts.. We've also seen the basic start menu changer previously, that allows us to disable the honeycomb style by bringing back the list of programs.

If you have enjoyed all of them, here is something to bring cheer to your face with a much better version and added features. The new Windows Mobile 6.5 StartMenu Modifier is an small application that empowers users to change the design and style of your start menu layout to multiple folders, move shortcuts between folders, and move shortcuts up/down in start menu position.

You can even Add or Change the icons to point different links or folders and so on. Still in beta, so a few bugs maybe expected. After-all WM6.5 itself isn't officially out yet.

Yesterday we told you about Sony Erricson's new plans on Windows Mobile based device XPERIA, we now have some more information. The device is going to be on WM 6.5 which will probably be a pre-release to WM7. It seems to have capabilities of OS level 3D hardware acceleration so gaming and graphics are gonna be so good. Apparantly, it will be running on a Qualcomm MSM7200/7500, as neither the TI OMAP nor the Intel processors and no dedicated GPS Chipset but an assisted one.
