Thank you for your response. You mentioned Contact will this affect the Calendar also???? Are you talking about Contacts on my PC??? I looked at it and it seems ok. I wll look at my Pocket PC also. It worked fine initially and I might have clicked on somthing or unintentionally done some thing that turned some thing on or off.

No, since you mentioned you also tried a hard-reset, right after hard-reset when you connect your Pocket PC to desktop, the Sync setup prompt should have appeared. Did you select Contact option to be Synchronized there?
Are there any firewalls recently installed on your Desktop?

Hi Carty,
I can't think of any new firewalls but I will check it out. Also I will try to see if I can get to the sync set up. I think I have done that. I have done so many things that I forgot all what I have done. I do know that I have lost my complete contacts llist about four times and I am trying not to have to redo it again. I will let you know what I find out.

Always use the free software PPC Pim Backup to keep a safe backup of your contacts and sms.

Thanks I just downloaded PCPM Backup to install. I have a backup for my SD card but not for my device. I was looking for something like that.
