Maybe your device is too old for Active Sync version 4.5
Looks like version 3.7 is the best choice for your iPaq. Try Googling for the download, less hopes you'll find it.

I don't get you.. Anyway, goto Start > Setting > Device Information and tell me if its on Windows Mobile 2003 / 5 / 6

I presume there is a WM5 upgrade for your device. Why don't you upgrade? Trust me, a change from WM 2003 to WM5 is drastic. You should definitely find drastic improvements in speed, performance and sync issues might get solved as well.

I have downloaded WM5 on my PC. The problem is that I am still unable to connect my PPC to the PC on either of the PCs, one with Vista and the other with Win XP. After hard re-setting PPC even two times, the message is " USB device not recognised". I have made all types of searches on Google, and tried to download driver fron HP website with no positive result! Unless either of the PCs recognises the PPC, no further action can be taken. Is there any solution, please?
