Coloured screen 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0  
I wanted to update my HTC X7500 advantage and the whole procedure whent wrong , the device is now only showing a coloured screen, and it seems like i have lost all info and the operating system.

Any suggestions how can i correct this issue?

Just re-run the upgrade utility. Make sure your device is hard spl before you run the upgrade utility

Thanks for your reply, i have tried it now a couple 10-15 times to re-run the upgrade, but its just don't want to and give me a error code and say invalid vendor, and i don't have a clue???

Invalid vendor and Invalid Country code are the stupid errors that prevent a custom ROM to be Flashed on to your Pocket PC. And apparently it can be overcomed by applying Hard-SPL to your device. For your device, the Hard SPL package is attached at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316846

Download the attachment from the above link, flash it to make your device Hard SPL and then run the ROM Upgrade utility you tried before. Things should go fine from then. Let me known further.
