Convert Sprint 6700 to Verizon? 1 Year, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
I currently use a PPC-6700 with Sprint, but I'm looking to change over to Verizon. I hate to shell out another $300, so I am curious if it is possible to use my PPC-6700 on Verizon. Whatever happened to the good ol' days when you could just swap the SIM chip?

Microsoft to buy RIM Blackberry?

Microsoft buying RIM Blackberry is as impossible and baseless as the previous rumors about Microsoft buying Yahoo! Though Microsoft has been mentioned as the possible buyer, especially in the event that Google announced its interest in producing mobile phone operating systems. Google’s new system is sure to ruffle a few Microsoft feathers as it blatantly competes with the Windows Mobile powered devices launched by Microsoft! RIM Blackberry service is now available for Windows Mobile users as they can install it via the Blackberry Connect Software. RIM also has Virtual Blackberry for Windows Mobile in the pipeline which is open to Gmail users too (thanks to the agreement with Google). RIM has the unique edge over Microsoft by its ability to push email from all service providers while the latter is limited severely to Microsoft Exchange Services. For more details, click here

The price of $1,699 is justified, thanks to the standard and IP67 rating! For more details, click here!

Service providers such as Sprint, used to lock their devices for their SIM usage alone. However this lock can be removed to make use of other SIM cards. This method of Unlocking will however expires your warranty and its a risky process too.

Regards,
Carty..

I found a way to get the MSL from my PPC-6700. Use the link below:

http://ppc6700users.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1640&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15&sid=910965d82f215ce2f6698274eff9e0a4

Now to see if Verizon will let me activate my PPC-6700 on their network....
