The rumors about the HTC HD 2 having more RAM memory than the numbers advertised are heard for quite some time. Now there is an unofficial ROM upgrade made available by XDA geeks which unlocks the unused precious RAM.

In the early released HTC HD 2 a RAM of 448 MB was advertised, but since then the rumors were spreading about a hidden RAM of an additional 128MB. Which we are unsure why HTC has hidden it for public usage or maybe they will make use of it in future when they announce official Windows Mobile 7 upgrades?

We have tested it and it is indeed true as we were able to reclaim an additional 128 MB of RAM, not just on screen but physically feel the difference by being able to use more number of applications at a time.
