I often get missed call alerts although my phone is always powered on. People also complain that they get a 'switched off' message.

Which carrier/network is your device in?

Do you have any fullscreen caller or any application to work during calls?

Regards,
Carty..

Thanks for your reply. I'm not in US, in fact in Pakistan and using Mobilink GSM network. I'm also not using 3G and there are no apps during calls. I had posted the same question on xda forums and was surpised to see many HTC Kaiser users from India and Pakistan having the same problem. The problem is resoved when there is no data connection (GPRS or EDGE).

Exactly, when your Data connection is active the phone will be busy for those who call. Only sometimes the network will temporarily suspend your Data connection and send in a call. But if the Data connection is very active (transfering data) then the call will be rejected!

This is how GSM and GPRS work!

Carty..
