Your Pocket PC's Today screen is so special that you look at it most of the time and wouldn't it be great if you make that screen filled with lots of vital information? Pocket Breeze from SBSH is a great Today Screen plug-in that can fill it with most important stuffs such as your upcoming appointments, tasks, calendar, contacts and much more. Installation
Since it is a Today plug-in, the software is supposedly working all/most of the time and should also be available immediately after wake up from stand-by mode, it is better the software is installed onto Main Memory of your Pocket PC and the file size of approx 2.5MB is not much to worry about.

Tabs and Options
When we said that you're going to get all your PIM stuff on one screen, it is not going to be made through an ugly scroll bar at the right. It is organized into transparent tabs assigned to sweet skinable icons at the left. When your list overflows, a small transparent scrollbar is added within the plug-in that adds extra beauty to the Today screen of your Pocket PC.

The best thing anyone needs to notice is that the software can be completely configured to make it look like the way you want your Today screen to appear. You decide what you want, where you want and how you want it to look with the new skinning capabilities. Although you don't need to spend time creating graphics, there are already numerous skins made out there in their forums to match your kind.

Grouping and Sorting
This is one feature that you can never miss. You can categorize your appointments and sort them out the way you like.

Mini Calendar
A small button that pops in a mini monthly calendar that is ofcourse highlighted with your appointments is just one among the coolest feature pocket breeze has to offer.

Navigation
Full D-Pad navigation is enabled and so you may feel comfortable not taking out the stylus all the time to check your list of appointments or whatever.

Contacts Tab
It is just wonderful that the contact list is displayed inside a tab right on your Today sceen with alphabetical search bar that supports search in a speed dial fashion. So this eases the task when you instead have to bring in the dialer, search for the contact and finally call. And remember to setup a larger font so you may not need to strain too much when they are all crowded there. The default Font size is 12 and I was very confortable with 13 or 14. Advanced Font option lets you choose different font style for different tabs.

Messaging Tab
As the name says, your Inbox is organized within the list here. I rather use this tab because currently it displays all accounts and you cannot choose which ones you want. And when you use a lot of accounts, the list is going to be much longer and hard to scroll so I better stick to the regular inbox application as it is much more comfortable.

Special Events Tab
There you go. A tab listing all upcoming birthdays and aniversaries including the age and number of day left is just about to impress all. The dates are obtained directly from your contact information and so no hastles in having a seperate software to enter them.

Custom Tabs
Ofcourse you can add other plug-ins to be displayed inside Pocket Breeze to save a lot of your Today Screen's real estate.

Performance and Memory
Of all the features that Pocket Breeze offers, the memory it consumes is really lower than what you might anticipate. Yes, the application is well coded for the best memory usage and so may never need to worry about it.
