The reason behind this is speculated to be to be the lower-than-usual sales in the Asia Pacific regions! The Commercial Times has reported that the company has ceased to take the delivery of the handsets and more over the orders for new models with ODM handsets has also been scrapped!The scrapping of new orders has resulted in minor losses for handsets makers Quanta Computer, Gigabyte Communications and Arima Communications from cancelled orders! O2 Asia Pacific has responded saying that it is adjusting its product strategy for the second half of the year and the company has does not plan to withdraw from the market! This comes as bad news since O2 Asia has some innovative and interesting products! The above news is not bound to affect the operation of O2 Europe as of now since O2 UK which is owned by Spanish Telefonica. On the other hand, Telefonica has begun to clear up O2 Germany which has resulted in a partial replacement of the top management and the CEO. There should be no wrong. If you have seen the configuratiin module before, in a page it would be written to erase the folder to hide it from the thief and so you would have erased it.<br /><br />No problem, just re-install with the trial version which can be downloaded from UTA' page from the above links in navigation pane.<br /><br />If still you don't see the folder, the zip of the folder has been posted in another thread under UTA' Help & support forum.<br /><br />Hope this helps.<br /><br /><br />Regards,<br />Carty..

<br />Hello,<br /><br />I installed the Read Sim as instructed in the Windows subdirectory of my WM5 device, the Read Sim checkbox is displayed, I check the box, and save & exit the setup...after entering the setup again, the check box is no longer checked.<br /><br />I have soft rebooted the device after checking the box, also.<br /><br />any ideas?<br /><br />Thanks!<br /><br />David

i-mate now in Asia!

WM6 upgrade for Eten Glofish Pocket PC phones

E-TEN Information Systems has announced that it will offer owners of its own-brand Glofiish X500 and M700 Pocket PC Phones the ability to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6, the latest platform for mobile devices. The upgrades will be delivered via downloads which will be available from the Glofiish website. The updates are currently scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2007.

E-TEN has revealed that it is working to deliver a series of language-localized ROM updates that will allow owners of Glofiish X500 and M700 Pocket PC Phones to upgrade their devices to Windows Mobile 6. The first of the updates are expected to be released in May. These updates ensure owners of Glofiish devices will be able to enjoy the benefits of the Windows Mobile 6 platform without the expense of having to purchase new Pocket PCs.
