Yesterday we showed you how to share your Pocket PC' internet on your Notebook. Today there's one more surprise! We're gonna show you how you can control your Pocket PC from Notebook or a Desktop PC for free, while your Pocket PC is just connected to ActiveSync via USB. Read more to find out how.. Note: It is very handy and usefull when you suddenly get an SMS message while working on Laptop and you don't want to stretch your hand to pick up the device, take out the stylus and read it. Also when installing programs from your Desktop, you don't want to take your device for doing additional steps! Hope you get an idea of how this article is going to help you. Before I proceed, I would like to introduce an application called SOTI Pocket Controller which does the same. But it comes for a whooping $34.95 USD and ofcourse it has some extra features which you may never ever need it! Dump that! My Mobiler is a freeware which does the same and ofcourse has some better features. First thing is that it doesn't ask you to install anything on your Pocket PC and so you save memory and much more.. It also has an option of capturing the screenshot of Pocket Pc and save it to either on Clipboard or to a file! For your glance, the image attached below is a shot taken with it!
An additional feature is that you can drag and drop files to this window on your Desktop and the file gets copied to My Documents of your Pocket PC. So every feature is useful and needed!
