G-Sensor
The gravity is sneaking into most of the recent pocketpc devices and if you're still unaware of what the heck it means, it is a small sensor that can act like motion detector on your pocket pc. For example, when you tilt your device horizontally, it can detect that movement and switch to landscape mode automatically. The g-sensor is good for gaming and the controls can be simulated with motion and a whole lot of new possibilities are here. When it comes to Glofiish X900, apart from swithcing the device to landscape mode, there is no additional application to this.

Connectivity
All top notch connectivity modes upto 3.5G, UMTS and HSDPA providing upto 2 Mbps up-link and 7.2 Mbps down-link. This is a quad band GSM device and we havent heard of any CDMA versions yet. Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11g WiFi, GPS receiver and so on..

CPU, Performance and Memory
Samsung S3C 6400 Processor at 533 MHz can definitely challenge you with all the multi tasking stuffs. Should we say more? Benchmarks does score pretty high when compared to other devices on the same range.

Bundled Applications
Apart from the powerfull possibilities of Windows Mobile 6.1, Glofiish X900 does have some nice bundled add-ons for out of the box usability.

SPB Mobile Shell
We're pretty un happy here when competing pocket pc manufacturers could offer custom Today interface, Acer have not yet worked on this part of the world which is substantially important among the consumer needs. Instead, they have chosen and bundled the already popular SPB Mobile shell in a poor or non impressive theme. Quick Link
A seen on the bottom of the Today Screen, it gives a 2 row scrollable list of programs. The pink Up and Down arrows doesn't look real geeky here and so we need to ignore it totally for professional looks. Well it's just a plug-in and you can turn that off easily right?

Album
Here's a leap ahead. Just like HTC Album, this works close to it and capable of smooth transitions and slide-shows. The photo treat is really nice in glofiish x900.

Backup Utility
A good application to backup your Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Personal Profile, Network Settings, My Documents and Messages. Nice to have but if you consider your data being worth more than anything, consider SPB Backup.
