RSS or Rich Site Summary as it abreviates, helps us a lot in reading content such as news and stuff. It saves a real lot of time where else you would have to open many websites and read their content instead. If you would like to know more about rss, reaad it here. So there are many readers out there for Pocket PC devices, NewsBreak from Iliumsoft is one which just got an uodate featuring podcast and vidcast support. I always loved SPB Insight for the only reason that it supports complete offline reading. Meaning, all pictures of the articles are downloaded inititially, but in Newsbreak, the pictures download only when you are reading the article. This helps me to update the news in the night with Active Sync and read everything in the morning. And when you have a slow connection such as GPRS, it becomes real annoying to wait for pictures to download. But NewsBreak seems faaar more advanced. It takes up very little memory. SPB Insight takes huuuge memory and causes your device to hog down.
So I leave the choice to you, You need pictures or memory and stability? If you have no high speed and cheap mobile internet or if you cant sacrifice the big pictures in articles and don't care about the memory, use SPB Insight. Else, go with NewsBreak! Not to forget that Alien6tech also have an rss reader claiming to display news in a Newspaper style but I hate application which ask me to install .net Compact Framework 2.0 which is needed for Alien6. And ofcourse, don't forget that we have a feed too! Our 2.0 version' url is www.PocketPC-Live.com/rss/3.html
