We’ve waited and waited and waited and finally our patience has been fruitful. If you’re a BlackBerry user on an AT&T network with a supported device, you’d sure love this one!

The OS 4.5 is out now and the deal is finally through. Now, every BlackBerry handset which supports OS 4.5 can get access to it on RIM’s AT&T downloads page. The devices which are compatible with this OS are Pearl 8100, Pearl 8110, Pearl 8120, Curve 8300, Curve 8310, Curve 8320, 8800, 8820 and 8700. Earlier, AT&T had made the OS 4.5 available for only a selected set of handsets. So, if you still own a vintage BlackBerry, fret not! You can have a brand new OS too!

HTC Pure is At&t’ re-branded version of the Touch Diamond 2 which has Windows Mobile 6.5 out of the box. 

Nokia did get a lot of attention with their Blackberry styled E Series phones with QWERTY keypad just below the screen instead of sliding and hiding under. Now Samsung brings something similar and interestingly, with Windows Mobile 6.5 coming to Sprint networks.

At&t announced their re-branded Touch Pro 2 as Tilt 2 last week and now confirms it’s younger brother too. The re-branded Touch Diamond 2 as At&t Pure.

HTC Imagio from Verizon and HTC Touch Pro 2 from At&t are all set to launch this month and this scares sprint to reduce their Touch Pro 2’ price. We still find reasons to pick At&t as a better option.

The first generation At&t Tilt was a huge success for them but they have been waiting a little longer for the second generation.  And finally, here it comes, set to launch on October 18th.
