Proud owner of the very first Windows Mobile phone from LG, the Incite? LG won’t offer you Windows Mobile 6.5 updates but here’s your chance to have all the fun with the new unofficial ROM update.

Windows Mobile 6.5 is not yet officially available on most PocketPc devices sold today on stores and it is very unlikely that you may receive an official update from manufacturers as they love to force you buy newer phones.  Fortunately, the un-official builds and ROM updates with WM6.5 are now available for almost every device!

LG is quite new to the PocketPc arena with their Incite and their upcoming GM730. With this profile, it is definitely sure that they won’t offer any ROM updates and hence, spoky12 from xda dev has taken his first step toward cooking an update for Incite. This is probably the first cooked ROM for LG and the best too. You can download it, flash it and post your feedback for others to read.

I am not sure if Spoky12 cooked the ROM that I flashed on my wife's phone but it is great and much better. This is the name of the ROM: xCite.2b_ROM_5.2.21046_Build_20755.1.4.0_W WE Fantastic ROM no issues and pretty fast and stable. It is a 6.1 WM ROM.
