The initial partnership was setup in active sync via USB.
This partnership still exists/works.
The Bluetooth dongle also runs of a USB port (different port)
The problem is that the Bluetooth pairing is established in the bluetooth manager, but that Active sync will/con not use it. >

Make sure you have established a successful pairing or bonding of your Pocket PC device and PC. Then in the PC,
1. Go to the Computer's Bluetooth Devices window and click on 'COM Ports' tab, click Add, remember the COM Port number. Eg. 'COM Port 5'
2. Select 'Incoming (Device initiates the connection)' and click OK.
3. Open your Computer's ActiveSync program, select File menu, click Connections Settings
4. Select Allow connections to one of the following, remember the COM Port # from previously.

And finally on your Pocket PC, turn on Bluetooh, open ActiveSync/Menu and select 'Connect via Bluetooth'. Thats about it!

Regards,
Carty..

HI Carty,

Thanx a lot - problem solved. The problem came from ActiveSync om the PPC. In mobile 5 ActiveSync asks you to setup a partnership out of ActiveSync. Only if you setup the partnership via ActiveSync do you get a option in the bluetooth manager to link up via "active sync" and not "file transfer" or "com port" in the select services to use tab!
Now it works 100% - Thanx again! ;D
