Since the introduction of iPhone, there began a race to improve Touch Screen and its possibilities. Though we cannot have the multi-touch feature of the iPhone, we can atleast expect applications improved for one-hand usage on a Pocket PC. Recently JottoSoft released an application called Finger-Friendly Friends, a commercial application that has a very limited functionality. It just dispays the list of contacts on a slightly better interface and sports a virtual keyboard with alphabets spread apart. When you use your finger to select an alphabet, the alphabets surrounded will also get selected so you dont need to struggle hard on pointing your finger on a particular alphabet. Tapping on a Contact will then give you a colourful list of options such as Call, SMS and so on.. But the $14.99 price might be little expensive as there is a better and free application called PocketCM!

Including me, there are many who love this application and its widely been used on most custom cooked ROMs. This application will give the contacts in the same way as Finger-Friendly Friends and the best of all, it works like a slot machine! If you swipe your finger across the screen from top-bottom, the contacts scroll the way in a slot machine!
