Foursquare is a service that offers you and your friends some nice new ways of exploring your city. You can even earn points and unlock badges for discovering new things. The good news is that we’re getting a native PocketPC client for it very soon.

The most exciting use of foursquare is the “check in” feature which is a way of telling about our whereabouts, to the providers and they will let our friends know and even recommended places to go to and things to do nearby.

Also we can make use of the many exciting features that foursquare allows us to do like sharing our experiences with friends and we get tips when we check in to a city or we can leave a tip after the dinner from a restaurant about the best among the menu etc.

Also the User Interface is quite easy and finger friendly according to our preliminary tests on unreleased unofficial versions, but it takes over the normal Windows Mobile interface so you will be pushed to close it if you are in need of any other applications. Let see how it is when it launches officially soon.
