What's the best christmas gift all Diamond users could get? A cool new iPhone interface on their Pocket PC!

D-MAN666 from xda-dev has gifted all Touch Diamond users with iDiamond, an iPhone styled application launcher along with the lock screens. This is by far the best iPhone clone interface on Pocket PC devices we've seen in terms of performance. While it's unfortunate that only Diamond users can try this out, others can still hope for the other free iphone theme.

iphone themes for q9h platnm6309 (76.209.16.xxx) 2009-01-01 17:26:36 Hi, I just got a Motorola q9h, and it is the most un user friendly phone, and I am really not a geek, so, I am sure it is my being dumb... at any rate, can I get two things.. one, this iphone theme for this phone AND how do I unlock it with the code from att by NOT using another sim card. All att told me was to go over seas for example and put in a different sim and the code. Well, I am not going over seas and don't have access to another sim, so how do I do this? All this while we wanted an iPhone theme on our Pocket PC. For the first time, since the launch of Windows Phone 7, it has turned the other way round.  It is a bit surprise to see a Windows Phone 7 Series theme on an iPhone and it clearly suggests that the future for Windows Mobile is right or the guys at MS are heading in the right direction.

In attempts to gain market share in the mobile arena after the huge success seen by the iPhone, Microsoft has planned to invest around $1 billion dollars to the research and development of Windows Mobile division.

Apple, who has previously threatened Palm with lawsuits over their intellectual property, is now suing HTC for HD2 patent violations. Apple has sued HTC claiming 20 patent violations relating to iPhone and other technologies.

Looks like the hype around iPhone is over and now its back to Symbian with the all new theme for Windows Mobile 6.5 based PocketPC phones.

We heard them coming and now, it has happened. Let’s wait for the same with Android pretty soon. Or who knows, Windows Mobile 7 might be a killer but by the time it launches, Android may get more powerful and mature, overtaking iPhone or whatever mobile OS exist.

Till date, there had been no virus or threat designed to target the Windows Mobile platform but iPhone already has many worms within 2 years of its launch and the latest worm steals banking information too. Does that mean Windows Mobile is a safer platform? 

Here is a neat looking ZiPhone Theme for Spb Mobile Shell 3.5 available in both VGA and qVGA versions but works only in portrait mode.
