Google, as a part of its limited bets test, has now started inviting mobile website developers to display Google ads on their site! The Google Adsense program helps mobile website owners to earn money by displaying advertisements on their websites! The backend network of Google places ads on site which are relevant to the contents and every time someone clicks the advertisements, the owner of the site earns revenue! But this option is available only for those websites written in mobile markup language such as WML (Wireless Markup Language), XHTML (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language) and CHTML (Compact HTML)! The reason for this is to enable Googles crawlers to read the page in those languages to decipher the page content and put up relevant ads! The going seems to be good for Google and considering the limitations of the screen size bandwidth on mobile phones, the click based models seem to be a hit! This is going to get bigger, thanks to the increase in Mobile advertising to get the company or their product right in front of their prospective customers! |
