There is a continuous progression and improvement of Skype for the Windows Mobile. This development has enabled phones which were previously problematic to operate even on EDGE. The HTC Dash version of Skype has been tested on the Samsung Blackjack. It was found that it works just perfect. A 3G Connection provides both instant messaging (textual chat) and Voice Chat (Voice over IP). It also works flawlessly using EDGE, which shows that it’s just a matter of band width. The quality of call was also good. There is still no official client for Skype, and its users are third party applications which use intermediary servers consisting of a very limited usability. But the continuous development can be seen as a consolation and comes as a relief to many Windows Mobile phone users!
