The latest trend in Europe seems to be releasing ROM upgrades not on their own websites! HTC Hermes which is a creation of O2 has launched a ROM upgrade for the Windows Mobile 6, German version and that too on a HTC website! And that’s not all, there seems to be a change in the procedure for downloading the upgrade! The users have to key in their serial number of the phone without which the download does not happen! In the West(read as Europe and USA), apart from Dopod, O2 is the very first to offer Windows Mobile 6 ROM upgrade for HTC Hermes.
