AOL lauches Beta Version for AIM

Saturday, 05 July 2008

aim A couple of years ago (2004 to be precise), AOL released the famous instant messenger service (AOL Instant Messaging) for Windows Mobile. If we remember correctly, this messenger was not widely available. Here's how AOL tackled the situation.

Now, AOL has initiated the beta version for the Mobile AIM which is the independent AOL Instant Messenger for Windows Mobile Pro and Standard. This version is rumored to have some flashy animation features which slow down the performance drastically. If you’re dying to get your hands on the beta version, click here.

Pocket Breeze 5.2 public beta released

SBSH.net has announced the public beta of Pocket Breeze (version 5.2). Though they name it Beta, it has been tested a lot and seemed safe to install and use.

The main feature in the update, Contact breeze is been ported within and so you may not need to purchase it. Sure they need to do this after their competitor' SPB Diary.Smile  But still we recommend Pocket Breeze to be better as its been there on the market for long and has been awarded many times.

Other features in the update:

  • Completely redesigned PocketBreeze Options section

  • New contact layouts and contact pictures and more in the ported Contacts tab!

  • Ability to sort tasks with appointments based on their reminder

  • New and easier skinning capabilities

  • Lots of other additional smaller changes and fixes

Download it from here ..
