Centro's encore but with GSM

Saturday, 05 July 2008

centro-palm All palm lovers around the world would love this itsy bitsy piece of news. The Centro which won the hearts of the tech zone in its Sprint, Verizon and AT&T format is now performing an encore with the GSM effect.

The specs seen in the AT&T models are religiously retained and the gray number pad (as opposed to the blaring lime green version) is the sole difference apart from the price tag ($299). The best is yet to come! The devices are rumored to sport the Google Maps version complete with “My location” features which were predominantly absent from GMaps on Palm versions. The Google Maps app can now be downloaded on your device in a couple of days from now on and here’s the forecast-a Sprint update is likely in the near future.
