eten pocketpcAfter being acquired by Acer, the Pocket PC manufacturer Eten tries some new marketing methods probably to sell off their stocked PocketPC devices. Eten sent an email to its subscribers saying that they are working on a new touch based interfaces somewhat inspired by the new iPhone. read more if you wanna know what Eten is upto..

Back in Feb '08 at the mobile world congress, Eten showed off their upcoming PocketPC Glofiish v900 which is supposed to have some kind of TV reception support to watch football matches on the move. Eten' mail doen't seem to be confident on delivering this service finally and we don't know for sure if they will really release it. Another highlight of the mail was to enlighten Pocket PC users with page-pool size with a few links pointed to third-party forum threads including the big hack group xda-dev(which Microsoft hates). Finally the mail concluded that you will end up loosing warranty if you do so. Then what the heck did they send those links for?
