Maybe Adobe is the only company who still loves to develop for Windows Mobile maybe.

Back in November 2008, we have seen Flash Lite for PocketPC that could help you watch YouTube videos in your PocketPC’ Internet Explorer.A year later, Adobe confirmed it’s developments of a full blown Flash suite for Windows Mobile phones and to be exact, the version of Flash will be 10.0

We don’t know when it will be available or will it ever be available, but Adobe moved forward and announced Flash 10.1 to be available by 2010. Sigh, still not ready and what is the point of this ‘so early’ announcement then. Adobe wants to be in the news, that’s it maybe. Or make iPhone users more jealous on Windows Mobile.

Yesterday at the mobile world congress, Adobe officially announced the availability of Flash for PocketPC phones or Windows Phones henceforth.

Although the new Internet Explorer mobile could play YouTube videos with Flash Lite which is a primitive version of flash when compared to the ones people have on their desktop and even better, HTC has made a custom YouTube application for their Touch Diamond pocket pc, what's more than just a good news is that adobe had promised to deliver the latest version Flash 10 to Windows Mobiles very soon. Yeh!!!

Zbop at TreoCentral has come out with yet another solution for Flash based video streaming. The solution will install a small CAB file and the TCPMP player. Using this, you can browse any flash based video sharing site (e.g. video.google.com, stage6divx.com etc), select the video you wish to watch and the TCPMP will play the video selected! Ironically, this solution does not work for YouTube due to HTTP structural changes on the website. For more details, click here!
