Gigabyte Gsmart S1200 is a new pocketpc with Smart Zone as a custom designed user interface.

Gigabyte have made some nice windows mobile devices in the past, such as the Gsmart Q60 however they didn’t capture much of consumer attention at-least in the American market even after they tried to do some custom Today plug-in.

Now they have made something to the UI based on Flash and overall it feels not so impressive. You will understand when you watch this video.

And not to forget that the external design of the device completely looks like a copy of the iPhone and includes a 3.1” WVGA display. Specs include Windows Mobile 6.1 running on top of a Qualcomm processor at 528 MHz.

Couple of months ago, they launched a device named i128. It had a nice shape and structure in a Pocket PC form factor.  See the image below.

And now, they announce anouther device named q60 which almost looks like a transistor with all those big old school aerials. Only improvement is the support for 3G.

• 2.1MP Camera (and forward facing VGA video calling camera)
• "Optional" GPS and TV applications
• Built-in antenna

Information on this device is still a little thin on the ground. It's not very clear whether it will have GPS and TV hardware which is then enabled by ROM upgrades depending on the carrier (like has happened with the Trinity) or whether carriers will have to opt to have the hardware included
