Almost a year ago, we witnessed Samsung Omnia and now it looks like a bigger brother is coming.

The samsung banner adverts for the mobile world congress in spain confirms the news of Omnia getting a HD version probably with the same specs but improving the screen resolution alone.

The old Omnia, even though it had a poor resolution of 240x400, it looked better for proper video drivers (which HTC lacks) and the custom widget based today plug-in made it a huge success for samsung.

However when samsung released some updates to omnia, there were many complaints like some couldnt get the ROM flashed for it mistkenly reported wrong serial number and for the rest who got it flashed, found that the screen quality was apparantly reduced and even the camera shots.

Will samsung release a proper update to i900 or play the HTC game by focusing on making people buy their new models?
