Palm plans on new devices

Sunday, 23 March 2008

palm pocketpcAfter facing a major down slide in their shares (dropped by 24%) palm still believes Windows Mobile can help them gain their life back. Read on to find out what palm plans for Windows Mobile users.

Palm OS was disregarded by most soon after Windows Mobile got fire and now after iPhone came up to the competition, palm faces really a tough time. Their last device Centro, which is a Windows Mobile based smartphone device with a qwerty keyboard have outsold other devices palm made, because of the fairly low price they introduced centro at. And now Palm plans to use the same strategy to bring out new centros with Windows Mobile but this time for some extra cash for GPS, WiFi and other hi-fi stuffs.

Update: We mistook centros for treos, thanks to Raul Reynoso (one of our reader for pointing it out)
