When Sony Ericsson made their entry into Windows Mobile world with the announcement of Xperia X1 last year, we thought it would make a huge success for them but ended disappointing. Now with plans of Xperia X2, we guess SE will fail again.

The first generation Xperia was released about the same time when HTC made a bang with their new TouchFlo 3D UI on Touch Diamond and Touch Pro. Although Xperia had a new panel interface on Windows Mobile, it failed to compete with Touch Flo 3D which was way better. Even after applying custom tweaks and ROM updates, Xperia could not handle the power hungry WinMo users.

Then in this year, Sony Ericsson announced their plans on second generation Xperia with Windows Mobile 6.5 out of the box. This time, with 8 mega pixels camera and WVGA screen resolutions, the device could not perform well with the old 528 Mhz processor. Check out the detailed spec list. While HTC and other companies are delivering devices with 1Ghz processors, Sony will eventually fail with a 528 Mhz processor on the Xperia X2.
