Although Opera browser is a leap ahead sans the regular Pocket Internet explorer that comes bundled with your PocketPC, we noticed it lacks smooth zoom and scroll on the newer Touch HD2 PocketPC phones. Here’s how you can improve it.

There are some tweaks for the beautiful HTC HD 2 to take over the advantage of its large capacitive touch screen. For a smoother scrolling and zooming in Opera browser, all you need to do is a registry edit and by change some values related to frames per second (FPS). You can even download a premade CAB file which can apply the tweaks for you.

T o increase Scrolling FPS you need to change the following key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Opera\Info\PanFps=50
And for increasing Zooming FPS you just change the key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Opera\Info\ZoomFps=50
Changing the values of PanFps and ZoomFps will do the trick, but, make sure to limit the values under 50 or it might not work properly.
