Touch Browser for Pocket PC

Monday, 14 April 2008

makayama pocketpcOpera mini got a hack recently so it can be launched directly from messaging and other applications. NetFront announced their Concept version available for public (over here). Opera is still fixing up their 8.65 Beta version. Now Makayama (never heard about them before) is entering the browser wars, highlighting Touch based page scroll and huge keyboard. Only commercial, no trial version is available at the moment and we haven't tested on our hands yet. But they have a working video published on their site. If you're not satisfied with NetFront (our best choice) and don't mind dishing out 15 bucks, go ahead. I can only think how much iPhone has bought to the Pocket PC world indirectly :)
