HP’s newly announced Tablet, is revealing some of its development history with you through their CTO Phil McKinney, who hoped to release it by sometime later in this year.

According to him, HP had keenly observed the modern consumers and up on that they have built up an idea of media experience, and had made their Tablet possible. The HP Slate looks like the smaller version of earlier tablets released from Microsoft some years ago.

The HP Slate runs on Windows 7 and supports multi-touch, which is expected to be the only difference from the previous Tablets. No other specifications are till known and will not be said by them until they get a final sketch of Apple’s iSlate.
