Bless iPhone for setting the standards of mobile UI really high! We mentioned previously that Windows Mobile 6.5 won’t have any big improvements and asked you to wait for Windows Mobile 7. Well of course have to wait longer but trust us, it will be worth the wait!

Windows Mobile 7 will have a completely re-designed everything. The entire framework is getting over hauled from the ground up. It will have a new user interface with no signs of old windows.

Lots in the interface are of course borrowed from existing Microsoft applications for example the buttons, bottom bar and most parts of the UI will have a shiny blue to it. Look at the Windows Media player that was delivered with Vista. Notice the blue shiny buttons at the top when clicked or your mouse pointed? That will be the base for most of the Windows Mobile 7 UI.  The fonts are really pleasant to look at. Some of the zune’ stuff will also be borrowed here. And to win over iPhone, definitely fluid interface will be included for navigation and of course a whole lot of amazing features that Microsoft would like to keep it a secret at the moment.

The Engadget show yesterday totally surprised everyone, with Aaron Woodman from Microsoft, showed off the World’s ever first Windows Phone 7 Series Device from one of their partners LG. The device shown is a pre production prototype and it was working just fine to reveal all the good stuff hidden under.

As we all know Windows Phone 7 Series has been officially announced and will be in the stores by the Q3 of 2010. Before the shipping of that Zune Phone, some clones for the WM7 are getting dressed up behind the screens.

Previously we have reported that Motorola will not be making any WM7 phones. The 20 to 30 Phones to be made in 2010 by Motorola will all be based on Android. But now, we may be getting a Windows Mobile 7 too!

At last, one of the most awaited Windows Phone 7 has been launched officially in the MWC. Eager to know if what we heard till now were true and how the new mobile OS from Microsoft stands up against the newly risen kings?

As the Mobile World Congress starts this Monday just 3 days from today, Microsoft will launch their new version of Mobile OS, the Windows Mobile 7 (now told as Windows Phone 7).
