HTC has jumped into the Android market but that doesn’t mean their Windows Mobile line-ups will reduce actually.

Along with 5 new Android phones upcoming, 3 new Windows Mobile 6.5 based PocketPC phones, probably the last, are due to be launched this 2010 from HTC.

By last we mean, Windows Mobile 7 is due to be launched in later 2010 so before HTC makes them, they want to end Windows Mobile 6.5 with these three Pocket PC models Photon, Trphy and Tera maybe.

HTC Photon
Looks a lot like the Touch HD 2 but features downgraded to help the mid sized market. The major downgrade will be at the processor level where you get only a 600 Mhz processor rather than a 1Ghz one as seen in the Touch HD 2. The screen size is also supposedly reduced from 3.8 inches to 3.2 inches only but still has supports multi-touch. Otherwise, the specs remain same with 5 mega pixel camera and so on, due to be launched in April 2010.

HTC Trophy
This Pocket PC is something like a hybrid between Touch HD 2 and HTC Snap. A blackberry styled QWERTY keyboard snapped down the display upfront. From the Touch HD 2, you get the capacitive multi-touch capable screen but only of VGA resolution and 3 inches size as the rest is taken up by the keyboard as seen in Snap. You also get the 5 mega pixel camera if that does any good for you at 600 Mhz processor speeds.

HTC Tera
Looks and feels a lot more like the HTC Touch Pro 2 or At&t Tilt 2 with slide and tilt QWERTY hardware keyboard. Has a 3.2 mega pixel camera, 528 Mhz processor, 256 Mb RAM, 3 inches WVGA touch screen, and everything else almost the same as Touch Pro 2, released with Windows Mobile 6.5 out of the box and the only extra feature will be the updated Touch Flo like you see in the latest Touch HD2.
