If you’re looking for a better way to rotate the screen orientation on the latest PocketPC phones like the Touch HD with built in G-Sensor, here is the best application for you.

HTC has stripped of many hardware keys including the highly essential D-Pad on their latest PocketPC phones. Although you have virtual D-Pad software to control the up down arrow keys based on G-Sensor, even the Best ROM for Touch HD won’t help you with anything on automatic screen rotation.

GSEN was actually the first third party software to make use of the G-Sensor for automatic screen rotation but being the beginner, it did have some bugs and lacked further development. Now another xda-member has created a much better application Change Screen which is still free and constantly under development as you can notice it from the latest version number 2.77

If you have read our Touch HD review, you'll notice that we have emphasized the lack of D-Pad spoiling the usabilty. While you can't add any hardware keys, atleast you can now use the accelometer to function as a virtual D-Pad.

If you have a Touch Diamond or Touch PRO Pocket Pc device, then this application is definitely a must have for a bargain price of just 5 bucks.

If you own a pocket pc, like the Fuze, Tilt or the LG Incite, sure you need a good unlimited data plan to make the most out of it.
