We are now well aware about the Windows Phone 7 Series, after its unveiling at the Mobile World Congress last month and PocketPC phones powered by Windows Phone 7 Series are expected to be out in the market by the mid of 2010. Read more to find out what will happen at Mix 2010.

While MWC focused mostly about the features of the Windows Phone 7 Series rather than the technical details, Microsoft has set to disclose more details at the Mix 2010, a 3 day conference for web designers and developers building the world's most innovative web sites, held at Las Vegas from March 15.

Everyone will be eager to know about the technical details of Windows Phone 7 Series and most of us were guessing what Windows Phone 7 Series will feature in it. So we are preparing a sort of list containing some of our thoughts which we hope to be answered at Las Vegas.

• Multitasking: Will multitasking work on the WM7 Series and if yes will it allow only MS apps to do so or any third party apps also?
• Native apps: Can developers create native apps (i.e. not managed code with .NET) for Windows Phone 7 Series, when considered it has been detached from Microsoft Employees?
• Free development tools: Will Microsoft put a condition that we must be registered members for getting any kind of free development tools or will they make it absolutely free for all users?
• As OpenGL ES is industry standard used by iPhone, Google, iPod and many devices as a standard specification what was Mary Jo Foley from ZDNet thinking by speaking that WP7 Series includes that with them? Does the so-praised OS does not feature some Standard needs in it?
• Side loading of apps: will it be allowed in Series 7 to install apps from outside of app store? i.e. from websites, and without the need of approval by Microsoft?
• It is almost certain that 2 new .NET technologies of software development, XNA and Silverlight, will be allowed for Windows Phone 7 Series but the question here is that will older version users (Windows Mobile 6.5) get any glimpses of the above told technologies or will they be thrown off as they were considered in upgrading their devices to WP7 Series?
• Will API and user controls build 3rd party apps that will be shown as big icons outside the hubs as seen in iPhone or will developers shrink everything into hubs?
• How APIs for accelerometer and digital compass will look like? Better than in iPhone or worse?
• Will Windows Phone 7 Series app store get also "in-app purchase" so that developers will be able to charge from within app for additional content like levels, eBooks, materials, etc?
